PHY216 Fall 2015 Calendar

There will be two lecture and two recitation classes each week. Usually the lectures will be on Tuesday and Thursday 9:30-10:50am in Phys. Bldg. Room B129E. The recitation class meetings will usually be in Phys. Bldg. Room B126 on Tuesday 2pm or 4pm (attend one) and Thursday 1pm or Friday 8:25am (attend one). Attendance at the lecture and recitation sessions is required. Some lectures will take place at the recitation class time slots, in which case the recitation meeting will take place at the lecture time slot. These cases are indicated in the calendar below with the background color of the table cell (lecture is light-green background, the recitation is light-blue background)

 

Schedule for the future lecture topics and problem solving recitation sessions is tentative and may change during the semester!

  

Please read assigned sections of your textbook (Serway & Jewett, Cengage Learning, 9th Edition, Volume 2) before you come to the lecture. They are shown below the lecture topics.

  

Quizzes are on material covered since the last test. Midterm exam are on material covered since the previous exam (beginning of the class for the first exam). The final exam is comprehensive and covers entire semester.
